Yule
A warming, inviting brew to celebrate Yuletide! A medium bodied, slightly fruity blend of Red Rooibos tea, Elderberries, Hibiscus, Cinnamon, Orange Peel, White Pine needles, Clove, Star Anise, and Juniper Berries.
This brew is caffeine free and packs a huge vitamin C punch!
Rooibos Tea is high in antioxidants and may help strengthen the cardiovascular system. It also may help balance blood sugar and aide weight loss as well as improving digestion.
Elderberries are known as a powerhouse of boosting your immune system and helping to reduce symptoms of cold and flu, but did you know these little black berries are also high in antioxidants, Vitamin C, iron, and potassium? They can also help lessen stress, fight inflammation, and may help protect your heart.
Hibiscus is very high in Vitamin C, and of course, antioxidants. It is a wonderful herb for beautiful skin, digestion, liver health, and it may help lower blood pressure.
Cinnamon is one of my all time favorite herbs because it helps balance blood sugar, and thanks to its warming properties, it raises the vitality of all the functions of the body. It helps improve digestion, alleviate cramps, and helps relieve congestion and coughs.
Orange Peel and White Pine both have vitamin C but the White pine surprisingly has more. Since colonial times, White Pine has been used to help treat coughs and congestion. It may also help boost collagen and skin elasticity thanks to its impressive polyphenols.
Clove and Star Anise are wonderful for boosting immune systems and helping to ward off illness. They also help digestive function, are high in antioxidants, may help protect the liver, and boost respiratory health.
Juniper berries are wonderful for kidney health. They contain bitter compounds that stimulate bile flow and the production of digestive enzymes. This allows the body to breakdown foods more easily and enhances nutrient absorption. Due to their astringent properties they are particularly effective at relieving heartburn and other digestive upsets.
** Yule is a seasonal brew. We are only offering our seasonal blends in small bags at this time. the small bags contain 13 rounded teaspoons of tea. This will make anywhere from 7-13 cups of tea depending on how much tea you use per 6-8 oz of water.
