Elder & Willow began in 2017 as a way to share my love for herbs. I began my journey into herbalism after both of my children were diagnosed with Autism. The more I learned about the possible causes & the toxins in our everyday lives, the more I wanted to return to a natural approach to healing & self care. I wanted to support them without synthetic medications & nurture them in an organic natural way. It was when my daughter had eczema in 2016 that I started making a body butter to help soothe it. It worked so well I decided to start making herbal skincare.
I’m still a student of Herbalism as there is always more to learn! I have a certificate from Sage Mountain, after completing Rosemary Gladstars’ Science and Art of Herbalism course & went on to assistant teach the same course for the next 2 years. I have also received certificates from The Herbal Academy of New England after completing their intermediate course as well as their Botany and Wildcrafting course among others. I’m currently enrolled in an Ayurveda program & hope to complete my Advanced Herbal Practitioner courses next year.
Thank you so much for checking out our website & products!
Sincerely,
