Into The Mystic
A delicious slightly sweet herbal brew with Tulsi Holy Basil, Nettle Leaf, Rose Petals, Rosehips, Orange Peel, and Licorice Root. This blend may help relax you both in mind and body, as well as provide essential nutrients to help you function at your best.
Tulsi is revered as a sacred herb in India and is known as "The Queen Of Herbs".
It is a naturally sweet herb from the mint family that is rich in antioxidants and adaptogenic properties. Tulsi has a strong feminine plant essence and is considered a sacred herb in Ayurveda that is used in both spiritual and medicinal practices. What are some of the benefits of Holy Basil? Regular consumption of Tulsi Holy Basil may help protect and detoxify the body cells and organs, help reduce stress (by relaxing and calming the mind), help digestive complaints, strengthen the immune system, and promote mental clarity.
Nettles, or Stinging Nettles, is a great all over tonic and an Herbalist favorite! It supports kidneys, the digestive system, and the circulatory system. Nettles are a great source of vitamins that are important for healthy menstruation like Iron, magnesium, and calcium. This herb is almost like a multivitamin. in addition to the previous minerals, its also high in Vitamins A, C, E, B1, B2, B3, B5, folate, potassium, phosphorous, selenium, and zinc. Nettles can also help combat hay fever since it has antihistamine properties.
Rose contain vitamins A, C, and E as well a minerals like iron and potassium. These, along with a whole slew of polyphenols and other antioxidant compounds give roses an amazing medicinal value. It is nervine (helps to support a healthy stress response)
analgesic (pain relieving),astringent (helps to tighten and tone tissues), aphrodisiac,
antimicrobial, and anti-inflammatory.
Rose hips are loaded with Vitamin C. Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant with many disease fighting abilities, and is necessary for the proper function of our immune system. It is essential in the production of collagen, and for maintaining the health of our bones, cartilage and teeth. Rose hips also have bioflavonoids which enhance your body's absorption of vitamin C and strengthen connective tissue. My favorite thing about rose hips are their tonic quality to help give you an energy boost.
Orange peel can help to stimulate the digestive system and improve the absorption of nutrients from food. Since it is very high in Vitamin C it helps boost immunity, metabolism, and can reduce inflammation.
Licorice root is antiviral and anti microbial and helps stimulate immune response.
It adds an additional touch of natural sweetness but is not overpowering in this blend.
