God Save the Queen Tea
A delightful British twist on chai! Black tea, and Earl Grey blended with Rose petals, cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, lavender buds, clove, jasmine flowers, and pepper.
A delightful brew for a proper afternoon tea, the star of this blend is the Earl Grey. It has a delicate balance with the floral aspects as well as the chai spices. They all come together for a balanced tantalizing tea that is delicious on its own, but is complimented even more so with the traditional Chai accompaniments of sweetener and milk.
(a vegan option of agave and oat or almond milk is just as tasty)
Small bags make 6 to 8 cups
Small tins make 9 to 12 cups
Large tins make 28 to 32 cups
Large bags make 35 to 40 cups
Because of the nature of the Camelia Sinensis leaves (tea) the longer you brew this blend the more astringent it can become. Best flavor is achieved at 5-7 minutes.
